Hello!
My name is Mayada. I'm a visual designer and printmaker based in Edmonton, Alberta. I'm currently completing a Bachelor of Design with a focus on Visual Communication and Printmaking at the University of Alberta and will be graduating in Spring 2026.
My design practice is rooted in research and problem-solving, drawing inspiration from lived experiences to create meaningful and empathetic design solutions.
I focus on bilingual typography (Arabic and English/French), visual identity design, print and publication design, signage and way-finding, and UX/UI design, with an emphasis on clarity, consistency and accessibility.
